Matthew Minucci made new law when his brief to the 9th District Federal Court, arguing that exhaustion clauses in insurance contracts are void and unenforceable under Colorado law, was adopted by both the 9th Circuit and the Colorado Court of Appeals. Mr. Minucci graduated from the University of Albany, cum laude, with Bachelor Degrees in History and Psychology. He attended law school at St. John’s University on academic scholarship thanks in part to scoring in the 99th percentile on his law school entrance exam. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 1997.

Joelle Miscuraca
Joelle Misuraca, Esq. is an associate attorney at The Cottle Firm. She is a Las Vegas native. Joelle attended Coronado High School and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from UNLV. Her legal career began during college where she worked as a litigation paralegal at a boutique personal injury law firm. Helping injured people in her community inspired her to apply to law school.

Joelle earned her Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV in May of 2018. During her third year of law school, she was awarded a prestigious scholarship and a one-year internship at a top civil litigation firm. This internship allowed her to gain practical experience and develop her legal knowledge. After graduation, she accepted a Judicial Clerkship for the Honorable Michael P. Villani where she conducted legal research and prepared written orders and opinions in various civil and criminal matters. Joelle’s clerkship ended in August of 2019 and she joined The Cottle Firm thereafter.

She is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and is licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada.

In August of 2021, Ms. Misuraca and Daniel M. Ryan, Esq. of The Cottle Firm, obtained an $11 million dollar jury verdict in a wrongful death case.
